Support
Write to support@withally.app. A person reads every message. We aim to reply within two business days.
Reporting a problem
The more of this you include, the faster it gets fixed:
- The app version — open Profile and read the line at the bottom of the settings list.
- Your platform and system version — macOS or iOS.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- Whether you were signed in, and roughly when it happened.
Please do not send passwords or one-time codes. We will never ask for them.
Frequently asked
I paid, but the app says I am not subscribed
Open Profile and tap Activate subscription. It restores the purchase made with the Apple Account currently signed in on the device — so make sure it is the same one you bought with. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of purchase.
My subscription is attached to a different FocusAlly account
A subscription is bought through your Apple Account, and it can end up linked to a FocusAlly account you no longer use — for example if you first bought while signed in with one email and later signed in with another. When FocusAlly notices this, it offers to re-link the subscription to the account you are signed in with now. You can also start this yourself with Activate subscription in Profile. Only one FocusAlly account holds the subscription at a time.
Using FocusAlly on a second device
Sign in with the same method on both devices — the same email, or the same Apple Account. Synchronisation starts on its own; your sessions, tasks and reflections appear on the other device. Without signing in, data stays on the device where you created it and does not transfer.
The one-time sign-in code did not arrive
Check the spam folder — the message comes from mail.focus.withally.app.
Codes expire, so request a new one if some time has passed. If nothing arrives at all, write
to us from that address.
Calendar events are not showing
FocusAlly needs calendar permission, and it only shows the calendars you selected. Check the permission in your system settings — Privacy & Security → Calendars on macOS, Privacy & Security → Calendars on iOS — and then check the calendar selection in the app. If you granted permission after opening the app, reopen it.
Turning off insights and reminders
The daily, weekly and monthly insight switches are in the app's Reminders settings. Turning a schedule off stops that insight from being generated. Notifications as a whole can be turned off for FocusAlly in your system settings.
Data requests
To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, write to support@withally.app. So we can confirm the request is yours, send it from the email address you sign in with, or — if you use Sign in with Apple — say so and include the email address that receives your Apple relay mail. We reply within 30 days. What we hold is described in the Privacy Policy.
